Dr. Stan Kovtun is among the few mercury-safe and biological dentists in Brookline, MA. He is our dental implant expert and provides a full range of dental services for both children and adults. With expertise in general, preventive, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry and periodontal disease procedures, Dr. Kovtun is committed to patient education and comprehensive treatment plans. Recently, Dr. Stan has been trained in phlebotomy and PRF procedures where the patient’s blood is used to decrease healing time and post-operative discomfort after surgical implant procedures.
Last year, Dr. Kovtun made two mission trips to the Dominican Republic, where he received extensive experience and performed significant bone grafting/augmentation procedures, including Sinus lifts and implant placements. These mission trips helped Dr. Kovtun obtain a new wealth of surgical training and have also significantly created access for dental care to the local population, where a significant amount suffers from tooth loss and gum disease.
